Brewer Loss Avenged - Streak Hits 7
Dennis
Bresnahan went "all" the way in a monsoon-shortened drubbing of the
Brewers. As the Yankees approached their turn at bat, anticipating a mercy
killing finish, the skies over Dennis Park opened and halted the contest at a 9
- 1 margin. Exceptional Yankee fielding was the order of the day. Corey Morris
had several key hits for the Yanks and gunned down a runner at the plate to
grab "Player of the Game" honors from Spearchucker who held the Brew
Crew to just an unearned run. The streak goes on the line again Wednesday night
at GCHS against the Blue Jays in the final match of the season series. John
"BowfleX" Scudder is working out heavily in anticipation of taking
the mound so fans should be ready for exciting action.
