Game Summary
Another classic battle between the Orioles and the Pirates.
Travis McLeod had a stellar afternoon on the mound for
the Orioles.  Locked up in a pitchers duel with the
Pirates Thad Rowland - McLeod didn't allow a hit until
the 7th inning.  Despite the lack of hits the Pirates
were able to put 3 runs on the board by the 2nd inning
thanks to hustle and errors.  McLeod walked 3 and
struck out 5 before being replaced by Mark Jackman in
the 9th inning with one out and Terry on first.
Jackman got Stinson to line into a double play to end
the game and to pick up his 1st Save.
Rowland struck out 7 Orioles in his 7 innings and was
almost as stingy with the hits until the 7th inning
when Mark Jackman led off with a homerun.  Kevin
Morris, Larry Leen, Ray Manchester and Travis McLeod
strung 4 hits in a row to tie the score at 3-3.  Mike
Jackman then knocked in the go ahead run with a
sacrafice fly to right.
Terry walked twice and singled for the Pirates.
